Director & Production Animal Vet
Jamie graduated from Massey University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc). He spent 2 years at Veterinary Service Hawkes Bay in Waipukurau as a mixed animal vet, working with deer, sheep, beef and dairy farms, while also spending a lot of time in the small animal clinic. He particularly enjoyed working with farm dogs.
Jamie came back home to the ‘winterless north’ in 2013, and joined Northland Veterinary Group. He has been working as a Production Animal Vet, working from our Maunu and Hikurangi Clinics.
Jamie lives in Maungatapere with Sarah Saint Merat and their 3 horses, and cattle. He likes to spend his free time out on (or under) the water at the family bach. He also enjoys tramping, camping, kayaking, or sampling his latest home brew beer.
